Anyone else find this REALLY hard to read? I know what she’s trying to say, but it’s so convoluted it’s impossible to decipher.
I think the biggest part of the problem was the outgoing CEO (who was a big TG supporter, let’s not forget) who really didn’t have any plan in place for how to take advantage of the noise created by the World Cup. They should have had a new broadcast deal in place, with stuff placed on the BBC at the very least, and perhaps some outreach with the rank and file members (recruit a friend, open play days, shopping centre demos) to spread the world above and beyond Liverpool.
As for the mayhem of the VNSL announcements, it’s mad that we still don’t know anything about the Pulse team – although looking at the movements in the off season, is there anyone left to play for them?
Am crossing everything that the new England CEO will be one with some commercial nous and one who’s not afraid to challenge the old girl network that’s only in it for the flights and first class accommodation….
