Have they actually appointed a new CEO yet? Can’t remember seeing any announcements…
Can understand why the Aus trip was behind closed doors – it wasn’t a full international, so didn’t count for ranking points for any of the teams…and there’s no reason to get peoples’ alarm bells ringing this early in a four year cycle. I seem to remember when Tracey took over that the first run outs weren’t all that impressive, and yet look where we end up.
Agree Tamsin has a high profile, but that’s not what’s needed imho – we need a sound business brain who understands the sport and has a proven track record of building relationships with brands, government and other NGBs. TG isn’t the answer, however good her agent is at raising awareness of her, imho. She should stick to TV, where she’s very insightful. And don’t forget she’s going to have two little ones to deal with shortly – how could she possibly give such a demanding, high profile job, her full attention in that situation?
