CONGRATULATIONS Caitlin Thwaites on your achievements throughout your Netball journey as a Diamond.
I have always been a Thwaites fan from the first time I saw her play for Kestrels at Jells Park when she was a teenager – that evening she played at GA.
Thwaites has had so many good season at various clubs, including NZ and yet she has too often sat behind Bassett, often on the bench when Thwaites was clearly the better performing GS during many a SSNL season.
Her graciousness and consideration towards team is duly noted and at a time when there are a few egos in the Diamonds squad, I have really appreciated her attitude, her positive approach to the game, her attitude towards ‘Team’ along with her pleasantness towards fans & spectators of Netball.
Well Done Caitlin – 55 Diamond Games is a worthy and fantastic achievement.
