Great last quarter from Singleton. When Akle first put her on I thought it was a mistake and they should have gone with Haythornthwaite but this will do great things for her confidence. Some lovely shooting and a very natural GA. Another new young GA!
I think Collingwood need to persevere with Nelson or play the moving circle (and not in the desperate, “let’s try and score 7 super shots this 5 minutes” way that they have). Ryde’s hands in the air are barely better than Nelson’s and she doesn’t offer movement or athleticism. She really needs to try and develop other assets so she can offer something more than height.
Amazing to see Proud playing so well. She looked like she was headed for the Diamonds last year and it would be great to see her get an opportunity this time around.
