As a Swifts fan this season always made me apprehensive. We have thrived for so long on being the young go getters who give teams a run and then fade(the 2017/18 swifts were like this years Firebirds) and provide a few upsets a season. Now we are one of the teams that other teams get themselves up for, do their homework on and looked at as the benchmark. The strategies from last year aren’t working, possession netball only works if you have punch in the attack end atm Housby and Haythornthwaite are playing very laterally when on court together. If we have a ten player squad next year id like to see it look like this

If teams permanently stay at 12 Id also like to see Singleton developed. Giants have a lot of young defenders so maybe we could pinch McDonnel or O’Shannassy since they took Dwyer Obrien Leatherbarrow etc 😉
