Interesting that Maddy Gordon is in this squad, considering she was not used at all to play for the Ferns in the Cadbury series.
I think she’s a real talent, and am glad she’s included in this team.
They have a nice blend of youth and experience.
My concern is in the defensive end. I feel this is Jane Watsons real test on how she handles the GD position. I don’t think, correct me if I’m wrong, she’s ever had to play on a quick and nippy type of GA. I think her style will suite playing on Koenan or Garbin. May find Austin tricky.
