Great game! Loved everything about the Silver Ferns. But also very impressed with the Diamonds last quarter team. That ball was moving like the Aussie style of old! Cara, Austin and Charles are an exciting combo. Bassett is gone I think.
I thought Eke had a great calming game when things were going wrong. Just steadied that attack end very well. Kersten and Sammy were fierce! So we’re our defenders. I don’t think SF were ready for the moving Aussie circle. Great quick hands and flow from the Diamonds.
Wilson was solid. Bugger to miss so many shots, but she didn’t stop turning and shooting. Instead of hugging the post.
So many 3+ second balls. Has it extended to 4? ?
Lots of work for both teams. I think Diamonds have found a combination that works. Weston was great in WD. Lots of touches. Bruce was a beast! Loved her work.
