Mundy has potential but she gets involved in too many turnovers. On paper she may have only had 4 but she was involved in about half of Kumwenda and Stanton’s turnovers due to wayward passes and pulling out of leads. Honey is a great athlete and her issue has only ever been hesitancy, she doesn’t throw away a lot of ball. But as I said before, it’s difficult to find space for her in the lineup. I’d like to see more of Moloney and Barkmeyer at WA.
As Tully said, the Vixens have gifted many training partners to other clubs that have gone on to become established players. I wonder if they’ll try and lure some of them back next year. Assuming they don’t keep all of the five defensive players, they’ll have an extra attacking midcourt position.
