back in 2001 I was in an age group rep team with Jess and Laura Langman – we were at a tournament and had a substantial lead (we ended up coming second at nationals) had a bit’ve switcheroo and ended up with both of them in GD/GK Jess did the lift with Laura – successful in terms of defence – although at the time we had the old Waikato tarten pleated (only held together with a plastic zipper) skirts, which when Laura was coming back down remained in the air in Jess’s hands – so before it was the Harrison hoist it was the Langman lift 😉
