Rapt for both Klau and Koenen. Klau getting a chance and showing why many wanted to see her on Fowler. Exceptional work and attitude.
I remember after the January tests many wanted Garbin over Koenen for Commonwealth Games. I’d choose Koenen to shoot for gold any day. To see her perform under such pressure whilst still inexperienced was beautiful to watch and must be so rewarding for her.
Also, whilst I didn’t watch it I’m very happy NZL proved a lot of doubters wrong and got the bronze. Lots of soul searching to be done by England it would seem, their midcourt is not good enough.
