Given how the Ferns have been travelling I fully expected them to get another turnover at 5 down in the latter stages of that third quarter and then come out after 3/4 time and score the first 3 goals to be even stevens and eventually take the game.
Instead they fell in a hole/the Diamonds put the foot down and it was a 15 goal margin by full time!
Am in two minds about Sunday. Start Heff at C and Johnson WD to help block the vision of the Diamonds feeders OR Gordon at C with her Pulse teammate Souness at WA? To earlier comments, if Ekenasio is back in the groove (fingers crossed!) that will help immensely.
