@WeWood I just don’t understand – she plays a totally different game for the Stars, a very natural game, so in my opinion it’s something she is being told to do for the SF’s, and it just doesn’t work.
I believe with Samason heading to Stars that Maia has said she really wants to work on her GA game, and (even though I know many don’t agree on here) I think she does show promise there, just like Thwaites got a second lease on (netball) life when she added that to her bow, a very unconventional GA style that defence struggled with, and I think for Maia having Samason/Walmsley/Nweke under the goal will give her more confidence to back herself on the long shot – which she really is very good at.
