This sounds absolutely horrible. The fact they called the game off makes it seem even more traumatising.
I’m no expert and obviously it would be great if she didn’t do an ACL, but would a break of the leg be better than that? At a first glance it sounds even worse, even career ending?
Wishing her all the best, she’s really had terrible luck throughout her career with injury. Every time she gets on a run or looks to be making big moves in her career she has had a terrible turn of events.
The Mavs will really need to gather after all this. Hopefully there’s a miracle and she’ll somehow be able to play this season. They’re in a fortunate position that Nelson is floating around, but still a terrible thing for the team to go through at the beginning of their journey.
