Although it was a long wait for the ambos (45 mins or so), Sasha was constantly attended by first responders (medical staff from both teams) who were also in phone contact with the emergency services.
She (thankfully) had pain relief (green whistle) and as far as I could see was as comfortable as was possible in the circumstances.
It was a freak accident, I think we all hope she has a total recovery as quickly as possible.
By the way I have seen juniors with serious injuries (eg dislocated knee) with just a sports trainer & their parents assisting wait longer at the same venue in the past.
