I was just thinking today that commentary has greatly improved the last few years since the days of Anne Sargent. They’re making more effort to get people from both teams to commentate a game (eg bringing Em Beaton over to Melbourne when Tbirds play here), so you don’t end up with strongly biased commentary. And there’s less male commentators who don’t know what they’re talking about.
I quite like Cath, I think she’s one of the more objective ones!
