Some of the criticisms levelled against NNZ are valid but so many commentators simply ignore the fact that NNZ has so much less money to play with. Salaries are not particularly transparent in netball as they all seem to be very piecemeal (especially in NZ), but I expect Nweke will be earning significantly more in Australia. I expect a lot more kiwi players would prefer to stay in ANZP if they could earn more, but that is just more difficult in NZ right now unfortunately.
