@TB – I can only speak about last night as I don’t know what she was like in Aus. Apparently 2 point is nothing new to her as she plays Indoor Netball. So she played GA only with Wallam from memory – took several 2pt attempts, missed them all but the majority bounced off the rim. Took a few 1 pts – I think one went in. However she did run rings around GD and GK.
Toeava was showing her skills aplenty and running rings around the Pulse mid-court later in the game in her usual position of WA, probably more than I’ve ever seen her. I’m guessing that with a target like Wallam at GS they’ll use her as GA to mostly get the ball to Wallam and if need be, take a 2pt attempt. She wasn’t on for more than a few minutes in GA at any one time, just to give Vui a quick spell.
Mystics were missing one of their shooters, Hannah Glen who I didn’t see there at all – may have been sick as pretty much all the team picked up something in Australia (heavy cold symptoms sort of thing). NB Mystics only named 3 shoots in their 2025 squad. They did have their TP (GS) with them, she seemed a bit overwhelmed and timid but grew into the game.
