I think Tbirds need to give Austin court time. She won’t have confidence if the message she’s getting is “you will only come on when our experienced player is injured or 10 mins before the end when we have destroyed this team”. I would be putting her on for significant time when it is really clear that they are going to win the game (like the first 2 rounds where it was clear that they were going to win at HT).
They need to be doing this for succession planning. AG was really emotional after the game when they gave her the presentation for most capped SSN player. To me those emotions come because she’s close to calling it quits.
