INFORMATION REGARDING RUTH ARYANG.
Unfortunately, Fever defender Ruth Aryang has suffered an Achilles injury and is out for the season. I know that several of you have her in your teams so here is what happens now…
REPLACING HER:
Firstly, it’s strange that this has come in the middle of the only split round for the whole year, and that has thrown a big spanner in the works. I wasn’t thinking of split rounds when I made the rules, but you have to think of it as if this were the middle of any other round. In that case, you would have to wait till the round finished to make a change. So I’m afraid it’s just plain rotten luck if you have her as you now need to wait until after this weekend to replace her.
ARYANG’S PRICE:
Aryang goes out after playing just two games. Usually, a player’s price doesn’t rise until they’ve played three games. But I feel this is a special case. So I’ve decided to put Aryang’s price at what it would have risen to based on the first 2 rounds. And that is $45,000. So a rise of $5,000 on her starting price.
CLASSIC COMP:
For those playing the Classic Comp, you can trade her out for $45,000 when the new price list for round 4 comes out.
SEASON COMP:
Those playing the Season Comp can swap her out after this round. You can spend no more than $45,000 on a replacement player. Please note, it doesn’t matter if you currently have money left over in the bank, that is only for use on the mid-season swaps. For this replacement, you can’t spend any more than $45,000.
