Thanks Ian. Do you have the goal percentage?

I found it interesting that in game 2 both sides had the same number of attempts, according to the Sky sports stats, but Aus came out on top because of accuracy of shot 😐

            Aus shooting %: 87.7%, 89.5%, 91.2%, 90.6%, 89.8%.
            NZ shooting %: 84.5%, 85.2%, 93%, 73.7%, 90.0%

NZ shooting very well, except for that one game (73.7%), which Aus won by 6. The other 4 games all ended in 1 goal margins with the kiwis winning 3 of them.

                Thanks Ian.
NT targeted the goal percentage as an area for improvement it appears to be working.
I didn’t realise Thwaites had better shooting stats than Cbass. She should be in the starting line-up

So… not much chance that Bassett won’t be starting. It’s in Perth and it’s her 100th game.

Bassett ton to give Diamonds motivation https://wwos.nine.com.au/netball/bassett-ton-to-give-diamonds-motivation/c27507b1-a41a-4bd7-ad31-de6a6f1ea2ec

A great achievement for Bassett and I don’t want to take anything away from that because she has been a rock for the Diamonds, especially when she is at her best, but does anyone else reckon Thwaites could’ve been in the 80s or so if LA gave her half the chance she gives Bassett?

“That was my introduction to the world stage, and people I guess looking at me as a serious threat, instead of maybe just someone who’s going to pop on as an impact player,” she says.

This quote particularly got me, not because it was her having a go or anything but she has literally stated the situation Thwaites is king of in from a coaching perspective.

Hi – i strongly suggest that in preparation for this game you all watch the M1 Nations Cup, Cook Islands V Singapore… available on youtube

                                WHY !

Yep the game is slower, the skill level is rising but not as high as the CC, umpiring okay but the commentary OMG – I’ve forgotten his name but he has stooped to a new low – unapologetically biased, sexist and lacking knowledge of the game 😮 😮 😮
