      To think this is potentially Maria’s final game in the black dress. The tears in Auckland definitely indicated that. If they win, it would round off a great year (on court lol) for her. Lose and could potentially push her swan song to the Jan series.

        Regardless of the score today I think it is a win already for both teams. LA has given most of the team court time clocking up experience. NT has developed consistency in the team’s performance.

        Like most people, I’m not surprised Thwaites is stepping down from internationals. Fair play really if she doesn’t see herself there for the next WC.

                      Sigh….it’s not Bassett’s last Diamonds game (or at least she hasn’t called). So let Thwaites start, she’s more in form that CBass.

                      I hope LA pulls Bassett quickly if the goal circle is not working.
