Thanks Ian. I had a look, but could not find it
Looking at the game so far imo the refs will win this for Australia unfortunately!!
It will be interesting to see if the refs particularly the one on the Kiwis shooting end, remains consistent with her calls throughout the match.
QT Diamonds well in front 16 to 7
Bassett 10/11
Tippett 6/6Folau 5/5
Ekenasio 0/0
(Mes 2/4)
Penalties NZ 18 Aust 14I just hope Aus can hold the lead this time… and that Thwaites gets off the bench.
1/4 time: Aus 16-7
A dominant first quarter from Australia, thanks largely to a mass of turnovers through kiwi mistakes. Starting with Bailey Mes didn’t work out for the Ferns, but the introduction of Ekenasio didn’t improve things. Aust 16/17 NZ 7/9
Wow, 13000 people at the game. Well done WA crowds
Umpire just made a call where the ball clearly should have gone to the Ferns but she was in the wrong spot watching. Still, Ferns making careless mistakes including offside and footwork so not taking anything away from the Diamonds yet
Shannon replaced Crampton to start Q2
Halfway through the second and the Diamonds lead 24-10. Tippett is really becoming a close-range shooter, isn’t taking those mid-range shots anymore.
Scherian can’t find a shooter to feed to so throws the ball so it goes off of Burger’s leg
Aussies PM Morrison in the crowd, Layton discussing the 30 million dollar promise for netball that he made earlier in the year.
This is the best I have seen Bassett play in months!
Langman catches Tippett standing still at the Aussie centre pass, Brazill responds in the next centre pass, the same, only difference, Aus doesn’t convert
