I think Weston in GK and Turner in GD. Height isn’t really necessary against the SFs. Plus Weston is horrid in the midcourt.

I just hope that if Jordan is there he has been briefed and stops referring to the World Cup held this year in London. And that he shuts up and lets Adine and Sharni do the talking. In fact why is he there at all?
I’d like to see the same starting 7 for the Silver Ferns as Sunday:
Folau
Ekenasio
Saunders
Langman
Rore
Karaka
WatsonGive them all some more time to gel. Especially Watson/Karaka who did a pretty good job for 35-40 minutes on Sunday. Burger was good as an impact payer for that last qtr.
If Crampton is recovered she’s a good option to use if needs be. But Saunders played very well against Brazill and in fact IMO had the better of her most of the game. And Brazill is the best WD in the Diamonds.LA has a conundrum. Does she start with the 7 she started with on Sunday or go with the 7 who finished? IMO she’ll go with:
Bassett
Tippett
Scherian
Watson
Brazill
Weston
KlauLets go Silver Ferns. Going into the 2 game leg in Australia 2-0 up would be great and set up a really good tussle.
I think LA needs to play JLP in WD to start. I was excited to Brazill start in game 1 but honestly she didn’t have that much of an impact and I was confused as to why LA didn’t replace her, if LA’s goal was to win that game. Brazill didn’t have a bad game as such but Saunders didn’t really seem that phased by her.
My starting 7 would be:
Basset
Tippett
Scherian
Watson
Price
Weston
Bruceor Turner and Klau, just to test the combo at the international stage (although I still believe Bruce is the better GK option for Australia at the moment, even if Klau has improve huge amounts this season).
I like the line-ups but if Bassett and Tippett are not working than lA NEEDS to pull the plug and put Thwaites or Phillip on. I also wouldn’t mind seeing Bruce at GD and JLP at C for a quarter just to know that if things aren’t working we have other combinations to turn to.
I would love to see an Aus line up of
Thwaites
Tippett
Hadley
Watson
Weston
Turner
Klau
Bench: Scherian, Brazill, Bassett, Phillip, Bruce
I think Weston on Saunders and switching on to Langman is the best option, she has the height and arms over pressure and might force a few held balls from Langman -
