      Bassett and Tippett’s hands have let them down numerous times. Go with two hands and pull it in!
      I was hoping to see Hadley swap on for scherian. So happy that change was made.
      Bruce is having a cracker. Obviously didn’t like being on the bench!

          Not sure if we need changes, but maybe a good talk in the half time might do it. Something is very wrong in attack. The C passes are rubbish.

          I think the whole Aussie defence end are very intense and winning the small battles. Those in circle bounce passes are really bad.

          Our defence are doing the best they can. We were kept in the game by some bad passes from Hadley. But Bassett and Tippett are looking more comfortable in there.

            1/2 time: Aust 26-21

            13-11 to Australia in that quarter. Again, I really do think they should be further in front. Just silly errors at crucial times has let NZ back in when the Diamonds looked on top. 5 goals isn’t a huge lead.

            Aust 26/27, NZ 21/26.

                      Courtney Bruce is showing what Australia missed in the first test. Great defence from Australia. NZ passing the ball round for ages, really struggling to find an open teammate, and Bruce just says enough of this and comes out for the intercept.

                            If LA wants to play Klau and Bruce together then they should be the other way around. Klau does not drive the ball through court at all. Is nowhere in attack and Australia just get stuck in the midcourt every time.

                            Philip has brought much needed movement to the attack. Philip is drawing defenders and Bassett is now in a one on one.

                            Australia are throwing this away now.

                              Did JLP really bring anything different? I wasn’t really paying attention her game but the commentators mentioned two turnovers that she caused already in her limited court time

                                Totally agree Tully, Weston throws away so much in attack but Klau is totally absent. Bruce playing really well in GK but a better a attacking option in GD.

                                  Hadley’s feeding has been very surprising this series and not in a good way. Doesn’t seem to have a link to any shooter. Very hesitant. Often misses the option first up then goes back to it by which time the NZ defender has covered it.
