Yeah this year’s Australian side in general has been throwing away quite a lot of ball…
3/4 time: Aus 37-32
Sorry to keep harping on about this but Australia has actually dominated this game and yet they only lead by 5. They have been so sloppy in allowing the Ferns back into the game. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if NZ finished strong here.
Totally agree Tully, Weston throws away so much in attack but Klau is totally absent. Bruce playing really well in GK but a better a attacking option in GD.
Yes! Tippett in GS 🙂
So Phillip at GS and Tippet at GA.. not sure this is the time to try that but hopefully a bit more drive in attack

Oops, Tippett at GA, Philip GS
Interesting even though she is the GA, Tippett is in some ways playing that holding shooter role which is probably what LA wanted. Scherian on for Hadley now
Great reach from Bruce, she is becoming that reliable GK that this team needs in defence
Weston back on at GD. Klau to the bench
Whitney Souness should have come on earlier, missed a chance NZ. Left it to late to make the change, down by what 9 or 10
Mes’s movement is superb in attack but her shooting is off.
Langman looks to have some pain in her right hand, I didn’t spot anything happen did anyone else?I think from this last quarter I’ve seen that Bruce has really stepped up, the Phillip and Tippett goal circle is a great combination but I wonder if it will even last 6 months depending on Wood’s return and Phillip’s possible retirement in a few years. I would love to see Thwaites back in if Turner isn’t going to make her debut, that fourth option will be very important. I also think Brazill is better fitted at WD for deflection and intercepts but JLP has got this, kind of dirty mind you, but body on body way of playing which does push the WA out of their comfort zone.
Either way a great match and great win for Australia and LAs 100th Test matchMVP: Courtney Bruce
I think it’s interesting to note that NZ had 55% time in possession today, same as the last match, I think their shooting percentage probably cost them tonight quite a bit

Well deserved MVP for Bruce. I don’t understand why she wasn’t brought into the game on Sunday. Her reach over the shot had all the shooters doubting themselves.
Hadley again has not stepped up at this level. Scherian Ok but not the answer either. I would have liked to see JLP in C, Braz WD and Watson in WA.
