Congratulations Magpies, though I can smugly say I picked a Mystics and Magpies final at the start of this forum.

I hope NT takes this opportunity to bring in (at least two) new faces into the SF.
Nweke is a dilemma for me, do you/dont you? Aspects of her game are extraordinary, other aspects need time to polish.

Nweke is the next best thing, but I wouldn’t rush her into the Ferns game day squad. She needs a full pre season and a full ANZ season.
Noels could take her to England as a training partner and get her familiar to the training?

That Karaka Fitzpatrick combo might be selected for Ferns, especially if Watson is unable to travel due to that ankle injury.

Noels should take some youth in that midcourt. Poi and Souness are next in line and performed well all week

                        Eke SRicket Folau
                        Langman Crampton
                        Rore Burger Watson Karaka

                        They all are no brainers

Shooters, between Wilson Dunn Nweke Mes for that final spot

Midcourt, go for experience in Saunders or fresh talent in Souness Poi

If Watson is not fit, Fitzpatrick will be selected. MSB is great at WD GD, but they will have Burger and Rore covering those positions.
Faka needs more time to get fully fit and back to her old form

Don’t think SR is a no brainer and I’m not saying Bailey is. Nor is Maria’s future clear, she has to be signed to a club.
I’d take Maia BUT if Maria is there Maia has to be used, not bench sitting. Not much point taking shooters but only constantly using two all the time.
