Thanks Ian. But what’s happening to the time stamp…you must have posted that around noon: <<Day 2 of Super Club kicks of in just under 90 minutes from now>>
But the time says 2.09am!
Nweke is so good but she is so raw. Probably the easiest shooter to feed in NZ, her athleticism is superb.
Half-time in Mystics vs Steel its 24 all.
Steel doing a lot more rotation so far. Mystics using a settled 7. Would like to see Sok-Beatson and Nweke rested soon.
Steel beat Mystics 45-41. Mystics had about 5 chances to draw the scoreline back to 1 or 2 late in that game but didn’t score off any of them. That’ll be a work-on for them.
Kate Heffernan a deserving MVP. I would have picked her as well. So many deflections in the midcourt, her arms are surprisingly long. Stats say 5 deflections but it felt like about 10. She controlled the game in C. Her sister Georgia also shot really well.
Nweke made plenty of bad passes look good. Bailey Mes played a strong game. Tui is their other shooting option, she shoots well but struggles with the workload of a GA.

21/23 in the second half from Maia Wilson but Magic wins 3 out of the 4 quarters.
Full time:
Magic 53- 39 StarsMagic look very young on paper! 2019 Magic Training partners Williams and Edgecombe, Beko players Tong, Wilshier, and 2019 Giants training partner Georgia Marshall all on court in the last q which Magic won 16-11.
Good win for Magic 53-39 over Stars.

Tactix v Magpies up next. But no Temalisi on the list…..:( Tactix FB says this is ‘as she has to travel home after the passing of her grandfather.’
Kate Lloyd in for cover. Fenwick and Lily Marshall are named as starting 7. Magpies starting 7 look pretty much full strength. -
