Why is your contracted shooter on the bench? I swear Wilson is clueless sometimes.

My god, this game is 10x faster than the first game. Both teams looking GREAT!! Mystics lead 20-16 after the 1st quarter. Nweke shot 19/20 in a quarter…..
Swift put a bit of doubt in the feed. Muscles up well on Nweke. Grapes is not the answer. Love Mather and Ioane on defence. Maia and Hume work really nicely together. But Karaka showing her class hunting everything down. It’s quite a frantic pace.
Good competitive first half. Mystics just with the edge. You feel Stars doing a good job so far to hold on.

Stars playing well, I like Kate Burley.
Stars won the 3rd Q 15-12 and they’ve got it back to just one goal the difference at 3/4 time. Anyone’s game here. Mystics missing Bailey Mes in the shooting circle.
.@ANZPremiership 3 Qtr Time: @NthrnStars 44 – @northernmystics 45. Shooting: NS 44/56 (79%) – MYS 45/53 (85%) #NSvMYS

Not a fan of the delaying from Toeava. She looks tired. Really enjoying Tuis sneaky movements around Nweke.
But Maia is putting on a show! The stars attack end seems to work the ball around very nicely. Kara finding her feet after a few errors earlier on.
Burley can not be underestimated. Beautiful to watch when she’s on the hunt.
I guess the Aucklanders didn’t get the elbow memo. ?
I’ve always rated Karaka. I’m glad she’s playing well here, and also in the Ferns.
IMO she is the perfect replacement for Casey Kopua (GD Ferns). She’s the next Bernice Mene!A good win in the end for Mystics. The Stars challenged them strongly throughout, but in the end, Mystics won that last Q 14-11 to come away with a 4 goal win. Mystics had a slightly better shooting % which proved crucial.
