Who knows? This could possibly be the last top flight netball we see for a while. Better make the most of it…

So weird. No crowd there and on the stream there’s no commentary either. You sure do get to hear all the players clearly.
Magic dominant for most of the Q, leading 13-6 at one stage. Steel breaking down in the attack end under pressure from Mikaere in particular.

Steel would be winning if their goal % wasn’t in the mid 60s.

27 Magic – 24 Steel at half time. O’Connell’s % is only high 60s but they’ve swapped McCollin (5/7) for Heffernan who’s already shot 2/2.
Dibs on Mikaere for disrupting the Steel’s goalers.
At 3/4 time Magic 39 – Steel 37. Now both Heffernan and Latu-Meafou has gone off the boil, but boy can Latu-Meafou JUMP.
Still anyone’s game. Steel started the 2nd half very well, and actually hit the front before Magic steadied. O’Connell had the chance to make the gap just one goal right on 3/4 time but unfortunately she missed.

Gosh Jen O’C shooting has gone backwards. Latu-M and Sam changed her last name played well. Souness the best of the Ferns WA’s by some margin.
Good win for Magic. Steel pressured them at times, but Magic just controlled it nicely in that last Q. The difference for me was the pressure that mikaere, Fowler & Winders put on the Steel’s attack. Mikaere player of the match for me.
