I’m a Magic fan but I think we’ve lost our way since lockdown. I predict a Stars win. Magic bonus point???JRParticipantJuly 6, 2020 at 5:15 pmPost count: 253
I still don’t know why Mikaere was taken off yesterday, and especially don’t understand why she wasn’t put back on.NZChampionParticipantJuly 6, 2020 at 5:25 pmPost count: 210
I’m loving the way teams respond to losses the night before. In this case Magic absolutely dominating.Ian HarkinModeratorJuly 6, 2020 at 5:34 pmPost count: 3379
1/4 time: Magic 13-8
McPhee 8/9 (89%)
Latu-Meafou 5/7 (71%)
Wilson 5/7 (71%)
Hume 3/3 (100%)
Great first Q from Magic. Stars found it very tough finding their shooters, thanks to the pressure of Mikaere and Fowler.JinxiboParticipantJuly 6, 2020 at 5:34 pmPost count: 265
Can we end the game now please??
watching Q2 through my finger, come on Magic. Just as Stars score 3 in a rowNZChampionParticipantJuly 6, 2020 at 5:37 pmPost count: 210
Spoke too soon, Stars close within 1.NZChampionParticipantJuly 6, 2020 at 5:43 pmPost count: 210
There’s nothing more annoying seeing a shooter miss and the ball heads towards the the outside circle. But no one is there to get it except the opposition.BallerParticipantJuly 6, 2020 at 5:45 pmPost count: 82
Good to see all 4 shooters in the 80’s and Hume on 100.JRParticipantJuly 6, 2020 at 5:47 pmPost count: 253
Coach’s outfits – is it the same designer for Magic’s usual outfit (eg what they wore last night and last week) and that of Stars’ outfit tonight?
And I like the white under the yellow for Magic’s coaching team tonight – black would have been more logical, but the white is light and bright.

No, there’s nothing more annoying than Magic lobbing long balls into Mcphee when it’s not on! Now many times did they do it yesterday over Jury and it just didn’t work. They lost 3 or 4 balls that quarter doing the same thing. 24 secs to go and they forced the ball in and lost it. Stars go down the other end and score. So instead of going in 1 up at halftime it’s levelIan HarkinModeratorJuly 6, 2020 at 5:52 pmPost count: 3379
1/2 time: 24-24
McPhee 13/16 (81%)
Latu-Meafou 11/13 (85%)
Wilson 16/19 (84%)
Hume 8/8 (100%)
Dead level at 1/2 time. The stars shooting end came into their own in that Q, Wilson 11/12 and Hume 5/5 well fed by Reuela-Buchanan and helped out by Purvis with 3 gains in defence.
