Two evenly matched teams regarding form. Important match for current and fringe SF.

I’m a Magic fan but I think we’ve lost our way since lockdown. I predict a Stars win. Magic bonus point???

I still don’t know why Mikaere was taken off yesterday, and especially don’t understand why she wasn’t put back on.

I’m loving the way teams respond to losses the night before. In this case Magic absolutely dominating.

    1/4 time: Magic 13-8

    McPhee 8/9 (89%)
    Latu-Meafou 5/7 (71%)

    Wilson 5/7 (71%)
    Hume 3/3 (100%)

Great first Q from Magic. Stars found it very tough finding their shooters, thanks to the pressure of Mikaere and Fowler.

Can we end the game now please??

watching Q2 through my finger, come on Magic. Just as Stars score 3 in a row

There’s nothing more annoying seeing a shooter miss and the ball heads towards the the outside circle. But no one is there to get it except the opposition.

Good to see all 4 shooters in the 80’s and Hume on 100.

Coach’s outfits – is it the same designer for Magic’s usual outfit (eg what they wore last night and last week) and that of Stars’ outfit tonight?

And I like the white under the yellow for Magic’s coaching team tonight – black would have been more logical, but the white is light and bright.

No, there’s nothing more annoying than Magic lobbing long balls into Mcphee when it’s not on! Now many times did they do it yesterday over Jury and it just didn’t work. They lost 3 or 4 balls that quarter doing the same thing. 24 secs to go and they forced the ball in and lost it. Stars go down the other end and score. So instead of going in 1 up at halftime it’s level B-)

    1/2 time: 24-24

    McPhee 13/16 (81%)
    Latu-Meafou 11/13 (85%)

    Wilson 16/19 (84%)
    Hume 8/8 (100%)

Dead level at 1/2 time. The stars shooting end came into their own in that Q, Wilson 11/12 and Hume 5/5 well fed by Reuela-Buchanan and helped out by Purvis with 3 gains in defence.
