Last week the Steel really pushed the Pulse so anything could happen. Tactically as the Steel need points, so do you target both games, one or play it out?
Loving netball over four nights.

Ekenasio 2/2 (100%)O’Connell 6/9 (67%)
McCollin 6/7 (86%)Great start from Steel. Can they keep it up for the full 4 qtrs. Meanwhile, Dunn & Ekenasio have now gone the equivalent of a full 60 minute match vs Steel without missing… 58/58
1/2 time: Pulse 22-20
Dunn 15/17 (88%)
Ekenasio 7/9 (78%)O’Connell 13/18 (72%)
McCollin 7/11 (64%)Well, Pulse took the lead in that Q, but they haven’t shaken the Steel, who are hanging in there. Accuracy the difference although Dunn & Ekenasio both missed 2 in that quarter.
22-20 to pulse. But neither team taking control of this game. Wasted turnover by both sides every time they seem to gain possesion or momentum. However there’s Some great defensive work out there. Midcourt are going to have sort this one…@SkyNetball

3/4 time: Pulse 33-29
Dunn 20/22 (91%)
Ekenasio 13/16 (81%)O’Connell 19/26 (73%)
McCollin 10/15 (67%)Pulse edged further in front in that qtr, but they’re certainly not blowing Steel away. Metuarau is on at WA now. Let’s see if she can have the same effect as previous games.
Steel’s shooting percentage is exasperating. 15 more attempts and 2 behind.
Oh, now O’Connell has gone down badly.
Oh no! That’s awful. Jen O’Connell has gone down with a serious injury as she fell in the move that would have given Steel a chance to draw level. ?
Ouch that was the Steels game to win. Unfortunate finish.
The Pulse not their usual polished selves.Pulse win 40-37. But the injury to poor Jen O’Connell has really left an empty anticlimactic feeling over the match. To make matters worse, Steel were a genuine chance at leveling the match, until O’Connell went down in absolute agony and as a result lost possession.

Good game spoiled a little in the end by the awful injury to O’Connell.
In the words of @waihue “Steel making opportunities for themselves but just can’t finish it off” too many last third of the court errors.
Reigning champs continue their unbeaten record, Jury??. Sad for O’Connell at the end. Bonus point consolation. @SkyNetball @ANZPremiership pic.twitter.com/jFFqfw1jr7— Pamela Cookey (@PamelaCookey) July 10, 2020
