Of the last 10 attempts at goal in that quarter only 3 were scored. All shooters seemed to go off the boil
3/4 time: Magic 34-32
Selby-Rickit 11/14 (79%)
Prosser 2/6 (33%)Latu-Meafou 17/19 (89%)
Williams 0/1 (0%)Well, I was away from the screen for a while (had to get dinner!). And when I come back both first choice GSs were off court. Back to normal now though for the last Q!
Scores level with 2 mins left. Another close one!
Omg, has this been a close weekend of netball or what!!
WOWDRAW again, I’m glad ALM scored that last goal. When she was in that position previously she missed.
That middle table is looking very close. Round 5 and not as predictable as it could have been. Pulse are predictably at the top, but anyone could meet them in the final so far.
I still have my money on Tactix with a tiny, very slight edge over Mystics and Stars.
Full time: Tactix 46 v Magic 46

Good game, but frustrating to have another draw.
People from 88 countries tuning in to watch these games.
Margins this weekend…. 3, 9, 2, 1, 0
Tactix lucky to win yesterday, and lucky to draw today. Guess it worked out ok. But really needed that win today
88 different countries huh, I bet many of the viewers will stay on for next year. Okay it is free but it is also exciting.
We should mention the Umpires, how good have the been? :good: :good: :good: I don’t recall anyone posting about them or seeing any dissent from the players

umpiring has been fantastic I agree
I have one tiny little moan about the umpiring. At international level, an umpire will call wrong set and turn the ball over if it isn’t set in the right place. That doesn’t happen in the ANZ. But I’m not up to date with the rules etc… Maybe there was a change?
I think that rule is still there, I feel the ANZP players are good at engaging with the umpires to ensure they are in the right place.
There have been a few footwork calls and foot infringements at throw-ins, so they are looking at all aspects.
Oh and you can see and hear everything that’s happening. No loud thumping music after each goal or when the away team is shooting B-)
