    1/4 time: Stars 11-8

    Dunn 3/3 (100%)
    Ekenasio 5/6 (83%)

    Wilson 8/10 (80%)
    Hume 3/4 (75%)

A good start for Stars led by well by Kara with 6 assists at WA. Pulse a bit wasteful with 5 turnovers against them already.

    1/2 time: Pulse 21-19

    Dunn 11/11 (100%)
    Ekenasio 10/11 (91%)

    Wilson 14/16 (88%)
    Hume 5/7 (71%)

Pulse lifted in intensity in that quarter to take the lead. Again their shooters’ accuracy is a feature. In that quarter it was Stars who made the most errors with 7 turnovers.

Great game so far. The question is can the Stars maintain the intensity?

Bit of push and shove in the last few seconds.

    3/4 time: Stars 32-30

    Dunn 17/18 (94%)
    Ekenasio 13/14 (93%)

    Wilson 26/29 (90%)
    Hume 6/11 (55%)

Stars aren’t going away. In fact, they’ve taken the lead. Wilson is proving to be a strong target up front. The team going to the end Pulse is attacking now, has won each quarter.

    Well that last quarter…
    Surprised Wills kept Hume on.

Metuarau is too good. Great impact player

Metuarau’s vision in that last quarter was outstanding. I think I’d have her in as the fourth Ferns shooter, her connections with Dunn and Ekenasio are almost telepathic.

Pulse seem to have extra gears. Most of the time it’s like they’re only doing enough to win, but when pressured, they go to another level.

I really thought this was the Stars game. Great intensity for 3/4.

Good to see the Pulse on the chase.

Stars collapsed under pressure. They had such incredible connections between MRB, Kara and Wilson. But after a few missed shots, the Stars lost the composure they had all game

Metarau has amazing court smarts and vision. I think she’s ready for a run with the Ferns. Would have her over TPSR. She’s the next GA after Eke
