Good interview with Fifita. Promising player.
Aren’t shooters at the front? Why do the commentators keep talking about these players being ‘at the back’?
Good quarter from Steel.
Great last shot! The Steel are flying through court on attack. Crampton and Saunders playing really well. Pelasio really stepping up.
Toeava seems to give up whenever the Mystics lose possession, never seems to really bother about defending.
That’s one of the reasons Toeava prob won’t make the Ferns, has the can’t be bothered look far to often.
Steel are looking great. Mystics lob isn’t working as well as it has been in the past.
Hopefully they can keep it up!
Mystics currently not supporting Nweke. Throwing terrible passes.
I fully expect Mystics to win still, but Steel are gelling as a team
Steel playing like the days of old. The ball movement is really good, defensive work from everyone is solid. Just chipping away at a lead. Love the Steel moving circle and Saunders and Crampton feeding some brilliant low balls.
Mystics kids are starting to show their errors and it’s hurting them. Good shooting stats.
Toeava won’t be anywhere near the Ferns! Pederson Crampton Saunders Poi Gordon Souness Winders Kara Earle are all ahead of her.
Steel have started very strong. They led 13-11 at 1/4 time, and at 1/2 time, they’ve increased that lead to 23-19. Can they go on with it?
McCollin 16/22 (73%)
Pelasio 6/8 (75%)
Halpenny 1/3 (33%)Nweke 15/15 (100%)
Tui 4/4 (100%)Come on Steel. Don’t usually say it, but it helps the Tactix.
Sulu and Karaka looking silly out there. Master feeds by Crampton and Saunders.
even that quarter. If the lob into Nweke isn’t working Mystics don’t seem to have another plan. 18 GPT for the Mystics to 12 by the Steel.
3/4 time: Steel 36-32
Halpenny 8/12 (67%)
McCollin 22/29 (76%)Nweke 27/28 (96%)
Vui 0/0 (0%)Steel maintain the 4 goal lead. Playing so solidly so far. Can they keep it up?
