Well yes but I could see that so not sure why a paid expert couldn’t.

As a Vixens fan I’m quite energised by this game. Sure It was a draw not a win but in years gone by when they have been 14 down they would not have come back. They haven’t had a B game plan in the past. Today they had to do it without Mannix and Weston showed what I knew she could that she can cover GK. They’ve explored a new defensive circle combination and got a great debut into Smith. Could be important for them to cover Mannix so they can slowly bring her back.

Now if only they can explore a Moloney -Watson – Honey midcourt. Yes Smith was great in WD and I want to see her again and to be contracted in 2021 but they do need more midcourt options. They aren’t going to bench Moloney that is clear and I would love to see Honey and Watson combine so that would mean Moloney at WD.

I should also add Fever were very very good. They should push higher on the ladder.

They do need a WA change up though. Cosh was good early but beaten by Smith. Not sure what options they have there.

Oh I thought WYC had been completely cancelled, I remember thinking it was slightly preemptive at the time. Will it affect eligibility or will they just make it a 22/u event?

I love WYC, it’s one of the rare opportunities to see the best juniors in AUS, NZL and ENG come up against each other. I also thought Botswana did a great job hosting and it’s great to see smaller countries show their talent.

WYC has been postponed until late 2021 or early 2022.
