Scherian has been really hit or miss this season. I think WDs have done their homework on her, and she hasn’t been helped by Wood and Langman being slightly off the pace as well. I wouldn’t have her near the Diamonds 12 at the moment.
1/2 time: Fever 36-30
Koenen 18/20 (90%) 0/1 (0%)
Wood 6/8 (75%) 3/3 (100%)Fowler 30/31 (97%)
Teague-Neeld 2/3 (67%) 2/3 (67%)Fever got on top in the 2nd Q and unlike the first, there was no late run from Lightning. It’s a high quality game worthy of 3 v 4, but Fever on top
JR if there are international games the Diamonds management will know when and where they are. They will manage the Victorian (or any other state of required) players through a quarantine etc.
Looks like Koenan to GA and Proscovia to GS. Wood with a jacket on coming out of this break
Russel on at WD
Koenan not providing the playmaking that Lightning get with Wood’s movement, attack struggling to get it into the circle with the movement being very stilted
Koenan misses an under the post shot just when Lightnign have the chance to bring the margin to 2
And just like that Fever out by 6 again.
This is horrendous from the Lightning
Fever out by 10 now
Fowler just went down. Looks a little ginger, but continuing on. Fever well on top now. 48-38
Wood and Koenan just making too many silly errors this quarter, it has cost them dearly
I am really enjoying watching the Fever play. Cosh has impressed me.
Agree, she may go unnoticed but the fact that she has been able to slip in so seamlessly in Colyer’s place is a credit to her and the team
3/4 Time: Fever 51-41
