For those people who still think Fever are like a one woman team, I think the team this year are disproving that. Fowler has been good tonight, but she’s been far from dominant. The whole team has been terrific, especially in defence.
Yes you’re right Tully, but it was still a great intercept by Lee-Jones.
Very impressed with ATN this game, if you just watch her you realise that she’s the glue between the midcourt and Fowler and just how smart she plays
Still no Langman on the court… interesting choice but I guess even she needs a rest and its a good opportunity to test some other combinations properly
Fowler misses THREE times in a row and then ATN misses and Lee-Jones and Pretorius can not get the rebounds, massive opportunity gone missing.

Fever out by 15 now
ATN playing so well this year. Reminds me of when she first came through. Beautiful to see.
The lightning attack is an absolute sham. Wood is far from her best and no matter which shooting combination is on, they have struggled to get the ball into the circle since the 2nd quarter. Scherian is also beign covered very well. Lightning need to address their movement in attack for the finals campaign
Lee-Jones with a caution for the deliberate delay, I think I missed what happened
That’s if Lightning make finals.
Okay I take back what I said, Lee Jones has a lot of development to go, she has had wayyy too many opportunities for rebounds that she has missed
Full Time: Fever 72-52
Final score 72-52. Well, it’s not quite 24 goals, but it’s pretty damn close! Fever definitely have Lightning’s measure this year so far.
Lightning just don’t have the depth that the other top teams have. Russell is the only player who can come on and make an impact. It wasn’t an issue for them in previous seasons when their starting 7 performed so well but now they’re showing weakness the Lightning look a bit out of answers.
I find the Fever attack a bit boring to watch but they’ve been so clinical since the Magpies game. It’s looking more and more like we’re heading for a Vixens/Fever showdown. Cosh has been an exceptional replacement for Colyer.
I think Plan B for Fever would be a Charles/Anstiss/Aryang midcourt.
