Proud and Turner talking to the umpires at the moment
WD/GD was an underrated strength for the Swifts last year, and I think a lot of their weakness both in attack and defence can be linked to those positions this year. Just not enough pressure on out the front of Klau.
I think Haythornthwaite needs to come off. She just runs straight for the pockets and has been involved in nearly all of the turnovers down the attacking end. Weston and Eddy are having excellent games though.
Proud and Weston are both having great games. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Proud her a Diamonds dress. Both GSs also playing well as is Thwaites.
1/2 time: Vixens 33-30
Wallace 20/21 (95%) 1/2 (50%)
Housby 6/6 (100%) 1/2 (50%)Kumwenda 23/23 (100%) 0/1 (0%)
Thwaites 6/7 (86%) 2/2 (100%)Vixens with just a slight edge but really anyone’s game. Maddy Proud having a ripper of a game for Swifts. Kumwenda likewise for Vixens
A well earned high-ten for Caitlin Thwaites, who draws level with Sharelle McMahon as the sixth most capped national league player with 227 🙌

Exactly. Missing Rore/Johnson & Turner being at full fitness.
Craig on at WD, pushing Haldy to C and Proud to WA. I guess Akle changed her mind Waylay
Garbin now on at GA
Laura Geitz, yes Philip’s knee is heavily strapped. But it has been for weeks. If she couldn’t take the court she wouldn’t be in the 12 and certainly Sacha McDonald would be.
What a Kumwenda rebound over Klau. Elevation!
A lot of love for Hadley by the commentators but I feel like Moloney has come into the game in this quarter after they moved Proud.
Vixens 7 up now and threatening to take control of this game.
A knock to the nose from Eddy to Proud and soon after from Dehaney to Wallace…
Wallace off, Housby at GS
Anyone aware of Kumwenda’s contractual status with the Vixens ?
Some players spending more time on the floor than upright!
Vixens 47-40
