Swifts’ shots just not falling, especially from the two-point zone which they are trying to use to catch up

The Swifts shooting from the two point zone is just not good enough. They should be far stronger.

Kumwenda, Watson and Proud are all dominating. Proud might be the Diamonds’ answer to how to get Watson back into WA.

No idea what Kumwenda’s contractual status with Vixens is but I would be shocked if she ever leaves Vixens. You can hear the genuine love she has in her heart fir the club and her teammates and is so thankful to NV and Peninsula for the opportunity to first come to Australia. It is so beautiful listening to her talk about going to watch the Vixens and McMahon and dreaming of playing for them. Of how she does everything McMahon asks her to because she is her hero.

              3/4 time: Vixens 49-40

              Housby 7/7 (100%) 1/3 (33%)
              Garbin 3/3 (100%) 0/1 (0%)

              Kumwenda 35/35 (100%) 1/2 (50%)
              Thwaites 8/10 (80%) 2/2 (100%)

What a play. Looked to be not enough time left but a huge pass from Thwaites to Kumwenda who nailed a super shot right as time was up

MJ has really gone from strength to strength this season

I agree al_ex loving Proud’s game tonight. Swifts need her back in C. Moloney came into after that move whilst Watson enjoyed the change to Craig.

I am slightly worried about the Diamonds attack and defence. Midcourt options are plentiful but the lack of experience in the shooting end and lack of consistent form in the defence end (relative to previous years) is going to be a challenge

I would love to see Moore have a go at WD with the extra height and reach.

Thanks Tully.. think she’d be a good recruit for the Lightning to replace Peace (given Fowler is tied to the Fever for 2021).

I agree the pressure is just not there in front of Klau. They need a stronger WD option, sure Hadley can offer something there as a solid WD but really you want her at WA or C

Dehaney doing very well tonight but, not in an effort to take anything away from her performance, the Swifts are making some uncharacteristic errors in the shooting circle and passing the ball around so much in an effort to get petter positioning. Swifts just not as slick as they were when in form last season

Housby sinks 2 super shots and the Vixens lead is now 7

Swifts putting everything into it, but Vixens are going to see it out. .
