            I’m most excited to see the two defence ends. The Firebirds will have to come up against a shorter mobile circle and bring fantastic footwork whereas Shimmin, Guscoth and Sterling seem tailor made for the aerial balls that Aiken has been enjoying. For me its whether they can do the groundwork on Dwan that will win them the game.
            Dunkley/Mimi on Van der Merwe will be good too

                            The Dwan/Aiken combination reminds me of the Medhurst/Aiken combination. They’re both so dangerous and know exactly how to balance their play.

                              We knew she was good but Dunkley is a revelation for firebirds in WA. They’ve traditionally gone for a steady player in C with a more dynamic player with speed and flair in WA. Dunkleys strength height poise and vision makes her a perfect fit, she’s executing beautifully when she gets feeding opportunities too. Mimi and Gardner will have to work hard to get out on court.

                                  Agree I love this Firebirds dress. Firebirds very clinical at the moment and Aiken winning her contest against Sterling currently, she is really being given too much room in front
