The super shot is actually so ridiculous. I doubt it will make a huge difference in this match but it’s literally two different sports being played in the first ten minutes and the last five. The fact it’s taken the Swifts this long to actually be effective with it is also quite ridiculous when their three main shooters can easily shoot from the zone.
The Swifts need to double back on Fowler. ATN has not had a great game and has barely needed to do any shooting or play-making.
3/4 time: Fever 61-51
Fowler 56/57 (98%) 1/1 (100%)
Teague-Neeld 1/3 (33%) 1/3 (33%)Wallace 16/16 (100%) 7/11 (64%)
Garbin 8/12 (67%) 5/9 (56%)This score really isn’t a true reflection of this game, but that’s what we’ve got. Without super shots, Fever would be up by 20!
Airball from Garbin way under the post but lucky the rebound goes her way
I’m worried for Fever in this game. They should be so far ahead, they can just coast home. Instead, Swifts are certainly within range, especially seeing how well they’re sinking the super shots today.
Fever with two overcooked passes to Fowler and Swifts convert those turnovers. Scoreline back to 6.
Can’t lie, I really want to see Swifts pull out a win today, would be SO exciting- This reply was modified 4 years, 1 month ago by Netballcrazy1.
Amazing tip from Klau which the Swifts thankfully convert.
Scoreline back to 4!
11 rounds down and we haven’t had a team turn a loss into a win through super shots. But I think it could happen today. The lead is now back to just 5 and it really should be 15.
The Fever are so chokey! When they get challenged their midcourt just stop completely. It’s like the Vixens game all over again, they’ve just completely stopped. They may get away with it this time but it’s a worrying omen going forward into finals.
Swifts looking soooo good with turner back in GD and Moore at WD
Didn’t the vixens turn the game against fever over last week with super shots?
Stanton comes on at Charles moves to WA, Antiss to C, Francis to WD
Scoreline is pushing out again
6 the difference. Just over 3 min left.
I can’t see Swifts turning enough ball over in the next 2 minutes even though its only a margin of 4. You get the sense that Fever will hold on
This is ridiculous!!!
Two supershots from ATN is pretty much neutralising everything the Swifts are trying to do
