SUN 13 SEP – LIGHTNING v FIREBIRDS (Sunshine Coast)
1pm AEST (12:30 SA, 11am WA, 3pm NZ, 4am UK)
Live scoring: https://mc.championdata.com/super_netball/
I hope this is a good contest, it could go either way but if one team turns up and the other doesn’t either one can blow the score out. Really excited to see how the Firebirds defenders go on Lightning attackers. I almost think they should play Hinchliffe at GD, she has matched up well on Wood in the past and thinks her way through the game.
No Wood to start…

GK HinchliffeLightning attack missing Wood. I wonder if they’ll bring her on or continue to rest her and let the others figure it out?
Congratulations to @karlamostert, the absolute defensive superstar, for reaching 100 national league games as she steps onto the court today⚡️#SSNLightningFirebirds pic.twitter.com/jxVP04RpM8

On a Facebook live just now, @9Netball caller @SueGaudion has re-told a story of x4 Queensland Firebirds fans who approached @WestCoastFever player Verity Charles on the street over the weekend & spat on the ground in front of her and told her she was "disgusting". Ordinary.

I know Wood is on now but not starting her makes me wonder if there is a lot more to her knee injury.
Its quite weird, they’ve clearly been trying to manage her but when push comes to shove and they need the win they put her out on court
1/4 time: Firebirds 20-13
Proscovia 8/8 (100%)
Wood 1/1 (100%) 1/1 (100%)Aiken 13/15 (87%)
Dwan 5/7 (71%) 1/3 (33%)Firebirds well on top early before Wood was introduced at 12-5. It’s been goal for goal since then. Firebirds keep up their record of being good starters.
Lightning looking a lot better with Wood on court, but it is a bit of a worry that she didn’t start. They need her.
Dwan is going to be a superstar!
Horjus too, maybe even Hodges if she moves somewhere and gets court time
Sophie Dwyer.
Nyah Allen.
ATN is playing better.Australia doesn’t need to worry about the GA stocks. Reminds me of the defensive end around 5 years ago. So many people were worried due to retirements and I just thought no we just need a year or two for the young ones to develop. Now the defensive stocks are great.
