                        I think tonight’s game was a perfect example of an underdog team playing out of its skin for most of the night but just not having the confidence or composure to close it out. Magpies just stuck at it and capitalised on the Firebirds’ errors which came as the game wore on.

                          Well deserved MVP for Jovic, she’s been so impressive. I’m surprised it’s taken her so long to break through. At this stage she needs to be their starting C.

                          I don’t know why the Firebirds didn’t have Venter and Dwan on the court when what they really needed were super shots.

                                Yes Jovic played well. I like her. Wonderful to see her playing so well and I said after the Magoies first two games how impressed I was with Jovic however, surely this game was one where mvp did not have to automatically go to someone on the winning team?

                                Jenner and Cassidy were the best players on court imo.

                                firebirds shooting circle is a mess. I feel Venter would be better suited to super league. Full games at GS each week as opposed to off and on the court at GA (she really isn’t a GA).
