28-28.
Still nobody has really managed to ignite the Vixens. It’s quite amazing how scrappy this is.
GUscoth off for the last five, Shimmin on at GD
Tbirds hit the front. Did anybody expect this???
Tbirds 33-30!
Potgieter, Horjus, Nankivell, Petty line-up is working very nicely for the Thunderbirds, think Pittman was off a little today but still have Glasgow on the bench to rotate if need be.
thunderbirds get the centre pass in the last five seconds of two-quarters today but smart play for Petty gets them starting centre pass of the next quarter. Those two super shots from Thwaites managed to bring Vixens back in front
3/4 time: Vixens 37-35
Hard to work out how Vixens are in front. Especially hard to work out how they won that Q when Tbirds were clearly the better team for most of it. You’d expect Vixens to go on with it from here, but I’m sure Tbirds will give it a good crack!
Shadine and Petty really need to get around the body to ball side when they’re on the circle, Watson getting it in too easy

Looks like Pittman is about to come on for Nankivell which is fair enough, the attack end isn’t offering options in the centre third this quarter, they seem stuck
Thunderbirds up 43-40 five minutes into the last, really hope they can hold on
Boy this is awful….no Plan B again.
Now 44-40, McKinnis brings Dehaney on to see if they can stilt that Thunderbirds goal circle and Weston getting a few messy borderline dangerous contacts. Vixens call a time out and take Kumwenda off, Thwaites back on, now this is going to be harder for the Thunderbirds
This has been tremendous from the Tbirds. Based on what we’ve seen so far, they well and truly deserve to win this. Can they keep it up? Will the Vixens magically click into gear. We’ve been waiting for it to happen, but Tbirds just haven’t allowed it.
Tbirds 44-40
I really hope this stupid super shot doesn’t ruin a potential win for the Thunderbirds, I would be so angry.
Shimmin on again for the last five for Guscoth.
