I see what you mean, James. At the end when they showed Caitlin Thwaites’s stats, they said she shot 30/31 and didn’t add the 2/6 that she had from super shot range.

I think having ATN, Stanton, and Cosh is simply too much for future seasons. I know Cosh is a TP but in the future someone needs to move. Similar at the Thunderbirds, Horjus, Glasgow, Hodges – someone, probably Hodges, will have to move to get court time because she has the talent but is not getting the opportunity.

Fever are far more disciplined when Anstiss is in C with Charles in WA, especially on transition. In general I think Fever need some personnel change. Cosh and Aryang have been impressive whilst Stanton, Colyer, Francis and Eagland have been pretty underwhelming. A 10 of Bruce, Lewis, Aryang, an import WD (maybe Kwangwa or Cobden), Charles, Anstiss, a NSW or Victorian WA, Cosh, ATN and Fowler would be more competitive.

I feel like Stanton should look at moving clubs. She’s not a playmaking/feeding GA, so she really needs to either be playing GS or GA with a moving shooter. Thunderbirds, Firebirds, Stars or Magic could be good options for her.

@al_ex I’ve been thinking similar thing. I’ve actually thought it would be good if Parmenter moved to Fever, they could use a good WD option to move Antiss and Charles up the court. The Giants’ extremely physical style doesn’t really suit Parmenter as well, as she is a very clean player for the most part. Although Fever aren’t exactly the clean team in defence either, I would say Francis is the worst in that area, and that Aryang would be better suited.
I think next year most players will be off contract so it will be interesting to see if we get a lot of movement from players.

Parmenter would be a great get for them!! They’d probably have to throw a lot of money at her. I’m sure Amy would be on the top of a lot of teams’ wish lists. There are so many good midcourters in Australia, many of whom aren’t getting on court so hopefully we do see a bit of movement.
