I think the commentators just called Housby Horjus. Anyone else catch that?

I really like watching Lara Dunkley, she’s so calm with the ball. Whilst Mimi has had a great season so far I’m glad that Dunkley is getting some more court time.

Things finally seem to be clicking with the Swifts again. I do think Haythornthwaite is the best WA and Proud and Hadley are much more suited to rotating C. Even Hadley at WD.

Garbin on for Wallace, Jenner back on at GD and Hinchliffe back at GS. Gardner on at C as well

Can someone clarify, how many time outs does each team have per half? Because if it 2 per half per team, that is just far too much.

                1/2 time: Swifts 34-26

                Aiken 15/18 (83%)
                Dwan 5/6 (83%) 3/4 (75%)

                Wallace 26/32 (81%)
                Housby 4/7 (57%) 2/3 (67%)

That was more like the champion Swifts we’ve come to expect. An improved showing all over the court and they won the 2nd Q 18-10.

This is a great battle between Aiken and Klau.

Firebirds start the 3rd Q well and Briony Akle calls a timeout straight away. Swifts 35-30

Margin back to 2, four minutes into the third

Yeah, it’s two timeouts per team per half. That’s too many. Should only be one.

It feels like the Swifts should be down by at least 5 but somehow they’ve managed to hold on to a small two-goal lead

Ellis on at GK, Hinchliffe off. A lot of rotations happening tonight

Aiken out with the elbows tonight, she deserves a caution, seen it three times tonight myself but not once has an umpire caught it

Yet again Jencke brings Rudi Ellis on for the power 5 and opposition’s attack goes nuts with goals. How many games does this have to happen for her to learn?? Leave Hinchliffe and Jenner on the damn court!!

                                  3/4 time: Swifts 49-43

                                  Aiken 30/37 (81%)
                                  Dwan 7/8 (88%) 3/5 (60%)

                                  Wallace 31/37 (84%)
                                  Housby 7/11 (64%) 5/7 (71%)

Housby’s going to get Swifts over the line. Firebirds were in control for most of that Q and drew level at 42-42. From that point on Housby took control.
