Pitman having an absolute shocker.
Eeeekkkk, Sterling! Hope she’s okay.
Sadly, Sterling has gone down with an ankle injury. Assisted off the court. Maddy McAuliffe helping her off court. How good is that.
Good win for Lightning. 56-50. It was a bit of a struggle but their experienced players eventually pulled them through. Amazing to see Tbirds score 4 super shots in that last power play when the game was pretty much out of their reach.
Please don’t let Sterling be injured. Sad for Thunderbirds, stronger than in the past in terms of match scores but I don’t think they will make finals
I think it was just a rolled ankle for Sterling. She tends to get a few stingers, I remember in the Northern Quad Series she went down with what seemed quite serious from her reaction but she was fine and came on court later. Hopefully she will be back on court on the weekend.

Wow Potgieter shot TWO super shots?
I thought the Tbirds attack end looked very tired. Pitman has been playing nearly every minute at WA in this condensed season and tonight it showed. Think Gooden should also have come on.
The spirit of good sports is strong at @sc_lightning! ⚡️

Sterling will undergo a test before Sunday’s game, but they’re hopeful she’ll be able to play.
