Why was the decision made to only have only one game mid week this week when all 4 games in Round 13 are in FNQ.
Then there’s a split of 3 games on Saturday and 1 on Sunday in Round 14. Lightning and Magpies have the tight turn around between rounds 12 and 13, but then Magpies have a really tight turn around between Weeks 13 and 14 (particularly playing in the first of three games on Saturday 26, whereas Lightning get the extra day).
I assume it’s just logistics. Wednesday is Townsville, Sat & Sun is Cairns. I assume it’s so that everyone involved with putting on the games can get to both places easily.
