Other than the colouring in section isn’t this new rebound feature just provide links to the news, netball love app, and videos sections of the SSN website? I don’t mean that to come across badly ik just trying to figure out if I’m missing something
Serious question, since 3 of the SSN clubs are run and owned by footy codes (Magpies, Lighting and Giants), is there a chance that they could give Netball the flick to save themselves money.??
Mcleod, you raised an excellent question. The outcome may depend upon the financial health of the SSN teams in question.
Giants are owned by NSW Netball, but aligned to Greater Western Sydney AFL, NSW Netball will be really struggling paying for 2 teams. Players have taken a 70% pay cut, which leaves many of them with next to nothing.
IMO the SSN is in grave danger.
Netball at the elite level and other Kiwi sporting competitions funded by Sky is in deep trouble. In due time, I expect sporting bodies in Australia and New Zealand to seek bailouts from their respective governments.
Over the coming weeks we'll be catching up with players to see how they plan to stay match-fit during the competition's suspension 🏡 First up… @CaitlinThwaites

Lack of physical contact. Um Netballers get closer to each other than most AFL players.
