How good is this!
Announcement at the end of the week. SSN here we come!
Will it be a full comp 18 weeks including finals, or a watered down comp. The boss of the SSN previously said they are looking at a November finish, but hoping not to go into December.
If such a late finish, that rules out any international Netball. Oh well apparently the SSN is the greatest Netball comp in the world, so that get to have the final say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They’ve said before that the Constellation Cup might be different this year, but they’re still hopeful of playing it. It’s such a money spinner, maybe they’re trying to delay it as long as possible so they can get crowds in.
Anything new to report?. Or will Sunday 31st May be the official announcement day.
Nothing so far. They did say “the end of the week”, so not sure if that’s today or what. Originally said they’d decide by the 31st, so I guess we’ll just have to wait.
Swifts, Giants stars slam NSW government on community netball inaction
Swifts captain Maddy Proud and coach Briony Akle, their Giants counterparts Jo Harten and Julie Fitzgerald and Diamonds captain Caitlin Bassett raise concerns over a “major lack of guidance” as to when netball clubs will be able to return.
Proud said – “It’s scary to think some young kids might go a year without sport, that could change the course of their lives,” she said. “If they stop now, they might not ever want to play again.”
"But there’s hope in netball. Super Netball chair Marina Go said there will be an announcement made about the restart of Super Netball this weekend."
Keep your eyes peeled for something tomorrow, netball fans. https://t.co/UJhM8lfdxU

I can’t see what NetballCrazy has posted, but I’ll go with Netball is back but no date yet.
SSN back August 1.
That’s a fair wait to the start, but it seems that by waiting that long they’re hoping they’ll be able to play at least some of the competition in front of crowds. Aust & NZ still committed to playing Constellation Cup at end of year but Quad Series cancelled.
